Description
Koga Miyata Fullpro Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1981)
1981 is the year the Fullpro earned its legend — the model that carried Koga-Miyata to the UCI team World Cup title and put Peter Winnen on top of Alpe d’Huez in the Tour de France, built from Tange Champion tubing with Miyata’s own Full-Power-Drive geometry to suit Shimano’s new Dyna Drive cranks. This set reproduces the complete 1981 factory decal sheet, including the mirrored down tube pairs in both plain and pinstriped versions, exactly as they left the factory. If you’re restoring an original 1981 Fullpro frame, this is exactly what it wore.
What’s included
Combined Koga Miyata Fullpro logo lockups (x2), Koga Miyata round “Handmade” gear badge, F.P.D. (Full-Power-Drive) frame size badge, Professional script decals (x2), Hi-Manga Special Steel Manganese Complete Fork badges (x2), Tange Champion Chrome Molybdenum Double-Butted Tube badge, Miyata Industry Co. Ltd. lifetime guarantee badge, small pennant-style Koga Miyata flag decal, large box-style Koga-Miyata down tube decals in plain finish (x2, mirrored pair), and large box-style Koga-Miyata down tube decals with pinstriped “Miyata Industry Co., Ltd.” edge lettering (x2, mirrored pair).
Materials & specs
High-grade self-adhesive vinyl, UV-resistant and waterproof
Die-cut by plotter for precision fitment
Stretchable material — conforms to tube shapes without creasing
Transfer layer included for clean, bubble-free application
Repositionable within the first few seconds after application — take your time to align before pressing firmly
Long-term adhesion is strong but decals can be removed cleanly with heat (heat gun or hairdryer) without damaging paint
Installation
Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.
Built for restoration, not just decoration
This is the exact spec year behind Koga-Miyata’s most famous result — the Fullpro that won the 1981 UCI team World Cup and carried Peter Winnen up Alpe d’Huez. Every logo, badge, and pinstripe here is positioned to match the original 1981 factory sheet, plain and pinstriped down tube pairs included. Get this on the frame and it reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works that championship year.
