Description

Koga Miyata Fullpro Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1980)

The Fullpro is the model that carried Koga-Miyata to the UCI team World Cup title in 1981 and put Peter Winnen on top of Alpe d’Huez in the Tour de France — built from Tange Champion chrome-molybdenum tubing so precisely that Miyata’s master frame builders reportedly took two full days to construct each frameset. This 1980 sheet captures the Fullpro one year before that historic season, block-logo graphics and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1980 Fullpro frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

What’s included

Large Koga-Miyata block logo decals (x2, mirrored pair), Koga-Miyata pinstriped block logo decals with “Miyata Industry Co., Ltd.” edge lettering (x2, mirrored pair), combined Koga-Miyata Fullpro logo lockups (x2), Professional script decals (x2), Koga Miyata round “Handmade” gear badge, Tange Champion Chrome Molybdenum Complete Fork badges (x2), and Tange Champion Chrome Molybdenum Double-Butted Tube badge.

Materials & specs

High-grade self-adhesive vinyl, UV-resistant and waterproof

Die-cut by plotter for precision fitment

Stretchable material — conforms to tube shapes without creasing

Transfer layer included for clean, bubble-free application

Repositionable within the first few seconds after application — take your time to align before pressing firmly

Long-term adhesion is strong but decals can be removed cleanly with heat (heat gun or hairdryer) without damaging paint

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

Built for restoration, not just decoration

A year before Peter Winnen made it famous on Alpe d’Huez, the Fullpro was already Koga-Miyata’s technical showcase — Tange Champion tubing, precision lugwork, and a graphic identity built to match. Every logo, badge, and lettering set here is positioned to match the original 1980 factory sheet. Get this on the frame and it reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works.
