Description

Koga Miyata Gent’s Luxe Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1977)

The Gent’s Luxe sat at the top of Koga-Miyata’s early lineup — the flagship road-touring model from the young Dutch-Japanese marque’s second production year, when the 1974 partnership between Koga and Miyata was still proving what a joint European-Japanese build could do. This set reproduces the full factory decal sheet for that 1977 model, right down to the individually spelled seat tube lettering most reproductions skip entirely. If you’re restoring an original Gent’s Luxe frame, this is the graphics package it left the factory with.

What’s included

Koga-Miyata down tube logos (x2), Gent’s-Luxe model script decals (x2), Miyata head badge medallion, Miyata Industry Co. Ltd. lifetime guarantee winged shield badge, “Built with High-Tensile 1024 Butted Tubes – Complete Frame” tube badge, High-Tensile Complete Fork 1024 badges (x2), individual seat tube lettering spelling out MIYATA in full sets on each side (12 pieces total), and cyan pinstripe accent strips for the fork and stays.

Materials & specs

High-grade self-adhesive vinyl, UV-resistant and waterproof

Die-cut by plotter for precision fitment

Stretchable material — conforms to tube shapes without creasing

Transfer layer included for clean, bubble-free application

Repositionable within the first few seconds after application — take your time to align before pressing firmly

Long-term adhesion is strong but decals can be removed cleanly with heat (heat gun or hairdryer) without damaging paint

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

Built for restoration, not just decoration

The Gent’s Luxe was Koga-Miyata’s statement piece before the brand’s racing lineage took shape, and the letter-by-letter seat tube lettering is the detail that separates a correctly restored frame from a close guess. Every badge, script, and pinstripe here is placed to match factory positioning. Get this set on the frame and the finish reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works in 1977.
