The 1980 Gent’s Luxe-S moved up to a mixed tubeset that hadn’t appeared on this model before — a Tange Champion double-butted main frame paired with a Hi-Manga fork, the same combination previously reserved for Koga-Miyata’s professional-series bikes. This set reproduces the complete 1980 factory decal sheet, gold script and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1980 Gent’s Luxe-S frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.
