Koga Miyata Gent’s Racer Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1978)

By 1978 the Gent’s Racer carried the same script-era graphics as its Luxe stablemate but kept its own identity as the lineup’s lighter road bike — no mudguard mounts, no rear carrier, and built around 28-inch wheels rather than the touring range’s 27-inch setup. This set reproduces the complete 1978 factory decal sheet, gold-on-black script and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1978 Gent’s Racer frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.
