The Gent’s Touring carried into 1980 still wearing the round “Koga Miyata Handmade” gear badge introduced the year before, built with Hi-Manga special steel tubing and kept as the practical, distance-focused model in a lineup now headlined by the flagship Fullpro. This set reproduces the complete 1980 factory decal sheet, gold script and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1980 Gent’s Touring frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

By 1980 the Gent’s Touring sat in a lineup now led by the Fullpro, but it kept the same Hi-Manga tubeset and Handmade badge identity that carried across the whole range that year. Every logo, badge, and pinstripe here is placed to match the original factory sheet, mirrored pairs included. Get this on the frame and it reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works in 1980.
