Koga Miyata Gent’s Touring Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1979)

The 1979 Gent’s Touring carried the same new-era badge identity as the rest of that year’s lineup — the round “Koga Miyata Handmade” gear badge in place of the previous year’s hexagonal Miyata badge — while keeping its role as the distance-focused model in the range. Built with Hi-Manga special steel tubing, this set reproduces the complete 1979 factory decal sheet, script logos and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1979 Gent’s Touring frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

Every logo, badge, and pinstripe here is placed to match the original factory sheet, mirrored pairs included.
