Koga Miyata Road-Racer Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1978)

Part of Koga-Miyata’s professional series aimed at serious cyclists, the 1978 Road-Racer paired Tange Champion double-butted chrome-molybdenum main tubing with a Miyata Hi-Manga fork — chromed dropouts, a drilled-out bottom bracket, and a build built to run Dura-Ace properly. This set reproduces the complete 1978 factory decal sheet, gold-on-black script and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1978 Road-Racer frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

Every logo, badge, and pinstripe here is placed to match the original factory sheet, mirrored pairs included. Get this on the frame and it reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works in 1978.
