Koga Miyata Silver-Ace Decal Set – Frame Sticker Kit (1978)

Not to be confused with the later Dutch-style city bike that carried the same name, the 1978 Silver-Ace was a genuine road machine — Hi-Manga double-butted steel frame, chromed fork, and the “Professional” script badge that put it in the same conversation as the Road-Speed and Road-Racer that year. This set reproduces the complete 1978 factory decal sheet, gold-on-black script and all, including the mirrored down tube pairs most reproductions get wrong. If you’re restoring an original 1978 Silver-Ace frame, this is exactly what left the factory on it.

Installation

Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old decals completely — never layer over existing stickers as it affects adhesion and final appearance. Allow freshly painted or lacquered surfaces to cure for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying.

Built for restoration, not just decoration

The 1978 Silver-Ace carried the Professional badge alongside the Road-Speed and Road-Racer that year, a road bike in its own right long before the name was recycled for a city bike decades later. Every logo, badge, and pinstripe here is placed to match the original factory sheet, mirrored pairs included. Get this on the frame and it reads exactly as it did rolling out of the Koga-Miyata works in 1978.
